A Wood Fairy Casting Spells



An image captured is an image dreamed
Somewhere in a dream replete with water and skies
There in this sea place far away from hills and low skies
Here is this place I dreamed of with a wood fairy dancing
She danced to unfamiliar sounds and mutterings
She whispered and hissed and gestured
And I came forward and nodded and waited
But she fled and all that I retained of her
Was a wedge of a blur and sounds I can’t reproduce
She was I suppose a fairy casting spells
This humming and dancing winged creature of mine
